Hereinafter: Service Provider.

2. Scope of the GTC

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) govern the terms of use of the H-81 Hostel accommodation service operated by the Service Provider.

The scope of the GTC extends to all natural persons and business associations who or which use the services of the Service Provider.

By using the website and submitting a reservation, the guest accepts the provisions of these GTC.

3. Nature of the Service

H-81 Hostel primarily provides accommodation services to corporate partners and employees, but reservations can also be made by private individuals.

Online booking can be initiated through the website.

The reservation becomes valid upon confirmation by the Service Provider.

4. Booking and Conclusion of the Contract

Reservations can be made:

  • through the online booking system,
  • by e-mail,
  • by phone,
  • by individual request for quotation.

 

The reservation becomes valid upon written or electronic confirmation by the Service Provider.

The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse the reservation.

The guest is obliged to provide true information during the booking process.

5. Prices and Payment Terms

The fees for the service are specified on the website or in an individual offer.

The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices, but this does not affect already confirmed reservations.

Online credit card payment is currently not available.

Payment can be made:

  • by bank transfer,
  • or based on an individual agreement.

 

The Service Provider is entitled to request an advance payment.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of the reservation is only valid in writing.

The cancellation conditions are as follows:

  • At least 7 days before arrival: free of charge,
  • Within 7 days before arrival: 50% of the service fee,
  • Within 48 hours before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the service fee is payable.

 

In the case of longer-term or individual corporate accommodation, the terms specified in the separate contract shall prevail.

7. Check-in and Check-out

Rooms can be occupied from the time specified by the Service Provider on the day of arrival.

On the day of departure, the room must be vacated no later than the time specified by the Service Provider.

The exact times are provided on the website or in the confirmation.

8. Guest’s Obligations

The guest is obliged to:

  • use the accommodation as intended,
  • comply with the house rules,
  • maintain the peace of the accommodation,
  • compensate for any damages caused.

 

The Service Provider is entitled to refuse or terminate the service if the guest:

  • is aggressive,
  • engages in unlawful conduct,
  • disrupts the operation of the accommodation,
  • seriously violates the house rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider is not responsible for:

  • valuables brought in by guests,
  • force majeure events,
  • damages caused or suffered by the guest, unless they result from the gross negligence of the Service Provider.

10. Complaint Handling

The guest can report their complaint at the following contact details:

The Service Provider handles complaints in accordance with applicable laws.

11. Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), in the case of contracts for accommodation services, the consumer is not entitled to the 14-day right of withdrawal.

12. Other Provisions

The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these GTC.

The provisions of Hungarian law shall govern the GTC.
